IoT Summer Breakfast - Kyrkviken Runt Livestream, Episode 03. Let's talk GreenTech, Renewable Energy, Solar Power, Innovation and Impact Investing, along with enabling emerging tech such as AI, Blockchain and off-course IoT! Live from somewhere around Kyrkviken in Arvika, Sweden (a part of the Greater Oslo Region). This time, we will be broadcasting to an international audience and hence the session will be entirely in English.

Dr. Alf Bjørseth is Chairman of his private company, Scatec AS, where the objective is to establish new companies based on the latest technologies within the areas of renewable energy and advanced materials. His efforts have resulted in a number of new businesses like REC, NorSun, Scatec Solar ASA, Norsk Titanium and REEtec AS. He will be best know for having founded ScanWafer in 1994, followed by another three companies within the solar industry, all merged into Renewable Energy Corporation in 2000 where he served as President and CEO until the fall of 2005.

A Varmland based international test center for renewable energy solutions of tomorrow. GEC is an independant partner in Scandinavia which raises the knowledge within solar energy systems. A leading innovation-arena for nordic and international stakeholders within enterprise and academia with development of new solutions for solar energy systems.

Trine Kopstad Berentsen, CEO at Solar Energy Cluster, Norway

A total energy transformation is on its way and it is developing fast.If you want to grow internationally, the market in Norway is important for building competence and developing technologies that can be exported into international markets.The partners in the Solar Cluster have a vision to make Norway the world’s best arena for innovation and testing in solar and energy systems. Wilhelm Myrer, CEO at Soliga, Empower & Chairman of the Oslo Blockchain Cluster, Norway

Wilhelm is serial entrepreneur with 15 years experience in starting and building technology and energy ventures. He is currently the Founder & CEO of Karlstad based Soliga, the clean-tech company Empower in Oslo, building a global plastic waste deposit system powered by blockchain technology and the Chairman of the Oslo Blockchain Cluster. Wilhelm grew up in western Varmland.

Wilfried Pimenta de Miranda, Venture Builder/IOTA Foundation,Oslo/Berlin

Wilfried Pimenta de Miranda is Business Development Director at IOTA, a global Foundation developing a DLT / Blockchain protocol for the digital economy and the future of automation. Prior to his joining IOTA in 2016, he worked in strategy-M&A, business and corporate development for enterprises and startups in the energy, cleantech and infrastructure engineering sectors. Pioneering the offshore wind industry in the early 2000’s, he is now working at the forefront of the Internet-of-Things era, engaging a wide ecosystem of multinationals and public sector enterprises to address Digital Trust challenges ahead and unleash a new wave of value creation and data driven business models. Wilfried is based in Oslo and holds a Masters of Engineering from France and Norway, and a global executive MBA from INSEAD.

Karianne U. Melleby, Director of Growth & Corporate Partnerships, StartupLab AS - Member of the Board of Directors KLP. She is also Project Member at MIT REAP to Geeater Oslo Region with MIT in an evidence based, practical approach to strengthening innovation driven entrepreneurial ecosystems such as the Pentahelix framework.
